RDS PPPoE IPv6

Salut!

Stie cineva cum setezi conexiunea PPPoE pentru a folosi IPv6?

Am net de la RDS si vreau sa testez si eu IPv6, dar nu reusesc sa obtin decat adrese IPv4, desi am pus "ipv6test" la service name si m-am inscris si in program.

S-a rezolvat!

Dupa multe incercari am aflat ca am sters accidental un comment din fisierul de configurare al ppp-ului! (LOOOL)

Pentru cine doreste un exemplu de configurare al conexiunii PPPoE pentru RDS (dar nu numai) cu IPv6 activat, aveti continutul fisierului de configurare mai jos.

Pentru conectare folosesc rp-pppoe !!!

Se creeaza fisierul "/etc/ppp/pppoe.conf" cu continului de mai sus, si user name-ul corespunzator. Parola se scrie in "/etc/ppp/pap-secrets".

Eu tiam ca nu trebuie sa activezi nimic sau sa configurezi sa ai ipv6.
La mine a pornit singurel, iar eu m-am interesat cum sa fac sa il scot.
Nu ma ajuta la nimic, ba mai mult parca site-urile incarca greu.

IPv6 este in teste, daia ai nevoie de acel servicename.

Poti sa activezi suportul intrand in contul tau de administrare https://digicare.rcs-rds.ro/login.php .

Orice interfata IPv6 isi creeaza un ip propriu, numit "link-local", care incepe cu fe80:..... Mai multe detalii pe google. Insa doar cu acest ip nu ai access la internet prin IPv6, deoarece nu este routabil.

Acum am alte probleme, legate de routare, deoarece prefixul dat de RDS este dinamic, iar toate tutorialele si informatiile care le-am adunat de pe net se refera la configuratii statice, ca pentru prosti.

salut baietii,
nu mai e nevoie de artificii la service name , daca aveti pppd-ul cu suport ipv6 veti putea cere /128-ul pe pppX si /64-ul pentru lan smile

Da si tu mai multe detalii, mai exact cum sa ceri acele prefixuri.

Mai merge si cu service name, pentru o perioada cel putin.

In alta ordine de idei RDS a inceput sa dea ipv4 de genul 5.x.x.x !
